Rameder offers towbar especially for bike carriers

Which mode of transport is even more ecological than an electric car? Correct – a bicycle. Those looking to combine the two, however, soon encounter a transport problem – even for the mega-hyped Tesla Model 3. While the mid-size electric car does almost everything right, the notchback does not offer a lot of trunk space. But Rameder now puts a stop to all spoilsports, Tesla haters and electric-car doubters by offering a special towbar for transporting bicycles on the Model 3.

Whether Tesla will actually enter the e-bike market one day is anyone’s guess. It is definitely true, though, that some Model 3 owners would like to transport their pushbikes with their car. Rameder, Europe's largest supplier for towbars and transport solutions for cars therefore offers a special towbar for the Tesla saloon which was designed exclusively for holding bike carriers. The associated 13-pin electrical kit is already included in the delivery.

The towbar has a generous vertical load of 75 kg, which is enough to transport even two e-bikes. Because a standard tow ball is used as an interface, virtually any carrier system can be used for mounting on the towbar. When the towball is not needed, it can simply be removed. During use, it is secured against theft with an integrated lock. That's everything covered then, as long as the new socket on the towbar is not used for connecting to a Tesla Supercharger.
